About This Role:

As the Director, Strategy & Operations - BNA (Biogen North America), you will be the driving force behind our strategy-to-execution engine, ensuring that our core business operations run seamlessly and that our performance frameworks and governance processes deliver on key priorities. In this role, you will be accountable for both internal and external business performance communications, including Investor Relations (IR) materials for major events and earnings calls. You will manage strategic initiatives, facilitate executive review forums, and support the Annual Operating Plan, directly linking it to finance. By building and running the BNA control tower for key priorities, you will integrate KPI dashboards and drive strategic objectives. Your expertise in narrative building will ensure compelling communication for executive audiences.

What You'll Do:

* Lead and orchestrate core BNA business operations, including business performance reviews and annual planning. Facilitate strategic discussions with the North America Leadership Team (NALT) to identify and drive annual priorities.
* Develop and manage strategy governance processes, coordinate and pressure-test priorities, and facilitate executive review forums
* Build and run the BNA control tower for key priorities, integrating KPI dashboards, variance analysis, risk heatmaps, and dependency maps
* Own the readiness and quality of executive communications for both internal and external audiences, including IR materials
* Serve as investor relations operations lead for earnings and events, owning the cross-functional content calendar with each franchise
* Craft compelling, consistent narratives for NALT on Strategy & Ops topics, including pre-reads, scripts, talking points, and follow-up memos
* Oversee document synthesis and governance for internal communications

Who You Are:

You are a strategic visionary with a proven record of leading cross-functional initiatives. Your exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate ambiguity and lead through influence in a matrixed organization.

Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
* 10+ years of experience in biopharma commercial strategy, management consulting, or corporate PMO
* Experience in commercial strategy, financial planning, and multi-franchise or above-brand environments
* Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through influence in a matrixed organization
* Skilled in structuring and managing timelines and project flows

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $195,000.00-$269,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
