The Discovery Program is a two-part insight series designed for current college Sophomores to provide a deeper understanding of what it means to work in investment banking at Barclays. Through interactive sessions, students gain firsthand exposure to the industry, develop professional skills, and build connections with Barclays employees.
This virtual program is tailored for high-achieving students who are interested in client-facing careers and want to explore the impact they can make in a global investment bank. Participants will leave with enhanced knowledge of the industry, strengthened professional skills, and a clearer view of the career paths available within Barclays.
Program Structure:
During part one you will be able to learn more about our firm, culture and how we deliver for our clients. During part two, we will focus on professional development to equip you to learn about what it means to find success at Barclays. If selected, attendance to both parts is mandatory.
Program Dates:
Part 1: Tuesday, November 18th
Part 2: Multiple dates during the first 2 weeks of December (dates will be shared once you are selected to participate in the program)
Who are we looking for?
- Sophomores studying any degree graduating between December 2027 and June 2028
- GPA of 3.2 or above
- Problem solvers who love a challenge
- Excellent communicators
- Keen interest with working within financial services
