Job Description
• Works on military aircraft and operate ground support equipment.
• Perform a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2D Avionics systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
• Diagnose and repair of the E-2D systems to include RADAR, RF and internal communications, navigation, IFF, ESM, mission computer, and Data link systems. Possess familiarity with updating system software i.e. RADAR, IFF using the Controller Test Set (CTS).
• Troubleshooting avionics systems using aircraft wiring schematics and Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) data.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of documented related work experience with E-2D Avionics systems.
• Experience as a CDI and the ability to support operations IAW COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2.
• Must have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• This position requires deployment to OCONUS location.
• This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity; expat incentives will be determined based on the length of time on assignment.
• For eye exams: Ability to successfully pass vision screen and color blindness tests
• For new-hire physical: o This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds, working overhead, and accessing small, confined spaces o Must be able to pass a physical/respiratory evaluation to obtain and maintain necessary respirator clearance and compliance with all respirator fitting requirements
• Working knowledge of tool control and quality control/ management processes.
• Must have a minimum of one of the following:

• Navy "A" and "C" schools or service equivalent schools.
• Accredited Vocational Education Institutions Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Factory Technical training programs related to the system(s)/equipment being supported.
• Familiarity with E-2D IMRL gear I.E. CTS, PLS and software loading procedures
• Good verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with the customer and project management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office productivity software
• Valid US Driver's License
Primary Level Salary Range: $71,900.00 - $119,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
