Job Summary
We're looking for a Wireless Lab Manager / Mobile Device SME with12+ years of experience to oversee lab testing of reported issues and to act as SME within the group for all mobile device related issues.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a lab team to test specific bugs or user experience related issues reported from various sources, providing technical guidance, and prioritizing tests.
- Create a vision for the future lab setup to accommodate the new testcases.
- Help determine root cause of found issues, and propose solutions
- As a device SME, for issues found to be device-related, perform device log analysis, when necessary, for both Android and iOS
- Act as interface to device and chipset vendors for the group, to discuss device-related issues and solutions
- Act as interface to Lab equipment manufacturers.
- Interface with other device teams within the company
- Manage lab testing with tracking in Jira, and keep documentation up to date
- Create test cases to simulate customer experience or known issues from other tickets
- Perform small-scale field testing, as necessary
- Verify UE vendor software releases and fixes, as necessary
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a mobile device SME
- 5+ years of experience with lab testing of mobile experience related or device related issues, and managing such an environment
- In-depth technical knowledge of 5G and WiFi, especially as related to device related issues
- Experience with DSDS workflow
- Experience with Android and iOS software structure from a device perspective

- Superb communication skills, including presentations
- Analytical ability to sift through data and extract actionable next steps
