The Classified Solutions Cybersecurity team is seeking an Engineering Technician 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Chandler, Arizona and will support Launch Systems programs.
What You'll Get To Do:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Support Launch Systems programs administering and performing Data Transfer Agent (DTA) duties for information systems processing National Security Information.
• Perform scheduled, on-demand, and mission critical data transfers across various security boundaries for multiple programs and classified networks.
• Be the subject matter expert on data transfer policies and procedures, to include data transfer software and media.
• Provide weekly status of all file transfer actions to and from classified information systems.
• Process and coordinate physical shipment and receipt of unclassified and classified parcels and media.
• Submit and track IT incidents and new requests in accordance with established processes.
• Coordinate handling, destruction, receipt and transferring of security related documentation.
• Administrate the DTA training program for collateral data transfer agents.
• Ensure all DTA related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
• Troubleshoot transfer device issues.
• Participate in technical and security related training relative to assigned duties.
Note- Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site.
This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day, Monday through Thursday, with every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma and 4 years of technical experience; OR an Associates degree and 2 years of technical experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and 0 years of technical experience is required
• Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of IT equipment, including encrypted hard drives, computers, optical media, and other external peripherals
• Experience with manipulating computer data and transferring information between devices in a classified environment
• Must have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and data transfer software
• Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree and 3 years of experience with IT and/or Cyber related data transfer in a classified environment
• Experience with DoD data transfer policy and procedures (DAAG/DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM)
• Current DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 Certification (IAT Level II, IAM Level I). Example: Security+ CE
• Military technical school training
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, works well with others in a team environment
• Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a collaborative team environment within schedules and timelines
• Ability to perform basic analysis and troubleshooting.
• Motivated to make an extra effort to provide quality internal and external customer service.
• Constantly seeks new sources of information and provides information necessary to meet customer needs.
• Active Top Secret or SAP/SAR access preferred

Primary Level Salary Range: $55,800.00 - $93,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
