Location: On site in Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC

Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

As a full-time associate, you will play a hands-on role in enabling First Horizon associates to leverage the Databricks platform for data consumption and insight generation. You’ll creatively investigate ways to position Databricks features for the business, support onboarding and adoption, and partner with teams across the organization to find new go-to-market strategies with our data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative solutions to make enterprise data access and exploration user-friendly and relevant.
  • Experiment with Databricks features to identify new ways the platform can support First Horizon’s business goals.
  • Collaborate with business unit teams and enterprise technology to identify use cases and needs on the Databricks platform.
  • Document best practices and use case results and propose improvements to current processes.
  • Gather feedback from associates to improve usability, documentation, and feature adoption.
  • Support ongoing communication and demonstration of value - sharing wins and insights with business units.
  • Help build a knowledge base of our data, functions, and workflows specific to our business context and semantics.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Interest in data platforms, analytics, AI, and creating solutions at an enterprise scale.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools preferred; curiosity about learning Databricks is required.
  • Collaborative attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and exemplary written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and respond to feedback.
