About the Job:
TMH’s growth and success is dependent on a highly successful dealer network which is a combination of independent and TMH owned dealerships. The primary focus of this position is to support the TMH owned dealers ranging from $125M to $800M organizations. The position will also be responsible for equity dealer analytics, financial consolidation, and general financial support of equity dealers. This position will report directly to Senior Manager of Equity Dealers and work closely with senior leadership to drive dealer financial improvements and company goals.
What You'll Be Doing:
Dealer Support
- Dealer facility planning and real-estate approvals
- Liaison with Dealer CFO/ Controllers
- Assist/Collaborate with dealers in developing annual and interim financial budgets and forecasts
- Monitor dealer monthly and YTD financial performance as compared to plan and prior year identifying root causes for variances and working with dealer to develop action plans for improvement
- Identify trends and establish standardization of key metrics
- Assist in the financial due diligence process as needed to help facilitate dealer acquisitions
Dealer Business Management Information System (BMIS)
- Work with dealers to submit consistent and accurate financial information
- Identify opportunities for improvement in BMIS reporting
- Collaborate with Dealer Development managers to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement
What We're Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- CPA preferred
What You'll Need for Success:
- Forklift Distribution experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of financial statements, current accounting standards
- Excellent oral, written communications and presentation skills
- Self-starter; can work effectively with little day-to-day supervision
- Decision making skills, relationship building skills, and results oriented
- Strategic thinker; ability to assist with long-term planning
- Must have the ability to influence or effect change without being overbearing
- Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
