Executive Compensation Manager

Description:This Lockheed Martin (LM) Total Rewards position supports the Director of Corporate Executive Compensation with Board/Compensation Committee meetings and materials, as well as the drafting of the Lockheed Martin Proxy Statement. It also provides analytical and operational support and corporate-level consultative guidance to LM Business Segments on executive compensation philosophy and processes. The position has enterprise-wide scope with material operational and reputational impact for the Corporation. The role will manage both key internal and external stakeholders, including stockholders, consultants, and vendor relationships.

Position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

* Performs research and detailed proxy analysis on executive pay plan design, methodology and industry trends and provides extensive data reporting and materials for Board of Directors and/or committee meetings and external filings
* Participates in the writing, editing, and proofing of SEC disclosures (e.g., proxy, CD&A, 8-Ks, etc.)
* Manages year-end operations around C-suite pay planning and Elected Officer Benchmarking
* Oversees Corp and BA operations in Executive Pay Benchmarking
* Manages Enterprise-Wide content (trainings, education materials, and communications)
* Works on critical public disclosures (e.g. Proxy) with significant impact on the corporation's reputation in managing stockholder expectations
* Hyperaware of external trends and emerging practices to consult the leadership team on exec pay actions
* Liaises with internal stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Investor Relations)
* Liaises with external stakeholders (consultants, vendors)
* Support the development, administration, and execution of enterprise-wide executive compensation programs
* Develops, analyzes, implements and administers enterprise-wide executive compensation programs including base salary, short-term incentive, long-term incentives and perquisites
* Establishes market values for executive level positions and provides market guidance to clients including C-Suite executives
* Participates in the management of the equity grant nomination and award process to ensure compliance with legal and plan requirements
* Serves as the liaison with internal and external audit agencies including the DCAA
* Provides research and analytical support to the Board of Directors regarding Director compensation
* Analyzes comprehensive sets of compensation and company performance data
* Partners and liaises with internal stakeholders, such as Talent Acquisition, Audit, and Corporate Legal on executive compensation matters and governance
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in executive compensation, corporate governance, accounting, finance, or Human Resources
- Experience working with Proxy statements and conducting market research/benchmarking
- Strong data analysis skills and highly proficient utilizing Excel
- Demonstrated analytical thinker and detail oriented
- Effective communication and presentation skills

Position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related master's degree; or 4 years of professional experience required with a related PhD or JD; or no experience required with a MD.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
