Duties & Responsibilities:
* Serve as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a correctional facility, providing primary health care to inmates.
* Deliver comprehensive assessment and management of uncomplicated acute conditions and stable chronic health problems
* Emphasize patient education, counseling, continuity of care, health promotion, disease prevention, and management
* Collaborate with physicians and adhere to established clinical guidelines when making patient management decisions
* Manage the daily operations of outpatient and inpatient departments, including conducting daily sick call
* Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments, including health maintenance screenings and risk evaluations
