FHNF SENIOR ASSET LIABILITY ANALYST
Job Description
This position will be responsible for supervising a team of analysts that prepare and present the
interest rate risk position for a portfolio of clients. Duties will include gathering client specific
information, loading data it into the A/L model, verifying the accuracy of the reports, and
accounting for any changes or trends in the risk profile. Ultimately the Senior Analyst will be
responsible for understanding balance sheet risk, communicating with the client and presenting
the model results to senior management. A high degree of analytical skill and the ability to work
with various clients (both internal and external) is required.
Minimum Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in Business (some background in accounting/finance preferred)
- High level of proficiency using Excel and other Microsoft office systems
- At least five years' experience in financial services with a preference given to analytical
and risk management positions, as well as specific ALM modeling proficiency.
This position will exist within ALM Advisors group, operating within FHN Financial, a division
of First Horizon Bank. ALM Advisors is a consulting group, actively analyzing the balance
sheets of over 230 financial institutions, providing risk assessment and strategic planning
guidance.
