Reports To: Manager of Business Analytics
Salary Range: $100,000-$117,000
Benefits: Eligible for comprehensive benefits (including healthcare) if working 30+ hours/week
Role Overview:
The Financial Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The role requires a detail-oriented, motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget, Forecast & Compensation Planning:
- Prepare and validate data templates for lawyer reviews
- Support month-end processes (FTE/headcount calculations)
- Analyze hiring and attrition trends
- Manage salary and bonus review timelines
- Assist with benchmarking and compensation surveys
- Contribute to annual budgeting (revenue, cost assumptions)
- Prepare materials for Budget Committee meetings
- Maintain budgeting/forecasting software and provide user support
Process Improvement:
- Identify automation and reporting efficiency opportunities
- Document recurring processes
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity with sensitive data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
- 0–2 years in an analytical role
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, IF statements)
- Experience with budgeting/forecasting software is a plus
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and SQL preferred
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
