Job Description

Job Opportunity: Gastroenterologist (Locums)
Location(s): Southborough, Worcester, and Marlborough, Massachusetts
Start Date: November 1, 2025 (target; credentialing + days)
Coverage Need: Full-time coverage (1 year)
Contract Length: 12 months (open to multiple providers sharing schedule)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts
Setting: Outpatient Endoscopy

Assignment Overview

1 full-time provider needed (multiple locums may share schedule)
Average patients per day
No call responsibilities
Primary procedures: Upper endoscopy & colonoscopy
Focus on backlog reduction and volume expansion

Candidate Requirements

MD/DO Required
Board Certified in Gastroenterology Required
Completed GI Fellowship Required
Active MA medical license Required
