GEAA Sales Manager
Location: Greater Erie Auto Auction, Erie, PA (Hybrid: 4-5 days on-site/week, potential flexibility for 1 remote day)
Salary: $70,000 base + unlimited bonus potential (total compensation up to $105,000+ depending on performance)
About the Role
Our client, a leading independent auto auction company in northern Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead their sales team. This role is based in Erie, PA, and reports directly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving sales growth. You will oversee sales strategies, manage the sales team, expand the customer base, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Compensation Range
Fixed Base Salary of $70K annual, plus bonuses

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Set sales targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds them.
Team Management

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.

Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress and address challenges.
Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Operations

Organize weekly sales lineups and ensure proper placement of seller's vehicles.

Oversee the sales process from vehicle consignment to sale.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.

Use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Skills

Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry, preferably in an auction environment.

Strong understanding of auto auction processes and the automotive market.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in CRM software (Edge Pipeline and Spark BI preferred).
Education & Experience

7-10 years of experience in automotive sales (10+ years preferred).
