Position Summary: About You: You're a creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic designer with a strong eye for design and a passion for learning. You're excited to grow your skills in a supportive, in-house creative team. You have a solid portfolio that shows your ability to solve design problems and communicate ideas clearly. You're open to feedback, eager to improve, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our team is open-minded, empathetic, and focused on creating engaging experiences for a diverse audience.About the Role: As a Designer I, you'll work closely with other designers, copywriters, and creative leads to bring ideas to life across multiple channels. You'll support our Creative Directors by producing thoughtful, effective designs that connect with customers and support our brand goals. This is an individual contributor role on a growing team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute creative concepts.
  • Design for digital and print channels, including email, web, and social media.
  • Contribute ideas through sketches, mood boards, and visual storytelling.
  • Participate in project kickoffs and ask questions to clarify goals and expectations.
  • Present your work with confidence and a collaborative mindset.
  • Balance multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities.
  • Take feedback positively and apply it to improve your work.
  • Stay organized and meet deadlines using our project management tools.
  • Be open to learning new tools and techniques as the work evolves.
Requirements:
  • A portfolio that shows your design skills (email design samples are a plus).
  • 1-2 years of design experience (internships or freelance work count).
  • Experience designing for digital platforms.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in retail or eCommerce design.
  • Familiarity with working on well-known brands.

Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities):
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Understanding of design principles like typography, layout, color, and branding.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and a willingness to adapt.
