Summary: Responsible for the safe and effective use of industrial lift trucks in accordance with plant procedures. Routinely fill customer orders, load trucks and complete required paperwork. Perform bay maintenance and support inventory control.

Daily and As Required:

1. Follow all safety and GMP rules to assure zero accidents and compliance with plant industrial lift truck licensing program and food safety regulations.

2. Perform material handling duties which include but are not limited to:

• Fill customer orders.
• Load outbound trailers with finished product.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Maintain stretch wrapper machine, change film and load cardboard tops.
• Perform bay maintenance.
• Support department inventory control programs.

3. Perform physical labor to load and unload partial pallets and/or make up full pallets.

4. Maintain simple records and paperwork related to inventory and quality.

5. Performs other duties required of the position or as directed.

General Requirements

1. Work safely

2. Lift up to 50 pounds independently.

3. Perform visual inspections of materials and products.

4. Record simple data on paper and/or via keyboard.

5. Read and understand simple written instructions.

6. Perform other physical tasks which require pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, walking, climbing (stairs and ladders), standing and sitting.

7. Able to use hands to perform a wide array of duties requiring fine manipulation and gross gripping.

8. Complete industrial lift truck license training.
