Head of Business Operations Connected Care (Cambridge, MA)
The Role of Connected Care Head of Business Operations will be a trusted member of the Connected Care Leadership Team, cooperating extensively across the Monitoring and S&RC Business Units, Regions, other Businesses and Functions to deliver on the Connected Care strategic plan. The leader will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business and be a strategic partner the Business Leader in achieving the business goals. This role reports directly to the Chief Business Leader, Connected Care.
Your role:
Shape, execute and optimize the daily operations of the Connected Care Business, on behalf of the Business Leader, including operating cadence, performance management, preparing and cascading decision making with ExCo and Board of Management. Preparation for decisions to be made by Executive Board, Supervisory Board and Steering Committees.
Orchestrate, and occasionally own, projects/programs (deep dives) with major impact, requiring large/multi-disciplinary teams, typically with global implications.
Ensure operational activities align with financial goals through working closely with the Head of Finance to understand the financial implications of operational decisions. This includes analyzing financial parameters within each BU, identifying cost-saving and/or growth generating opportunities, and ensuring investments deliver a strong ROI.
Ensure constant oversight on implementation of best practices across all business units to ensure Connected Care can grow profitably and scale competitively.
Bridge the gap between high-level strategic visions and ground level operational actions. Engage the BUs, Commercial, Marketing and other functions to convert high level strategic objectives into tailored execution plans while maintaining a coherent overall direction that aligns with the long-term organizational goals and commitments.
Manage complexity across multiple issues while balancing resource, schedule, and financial factors.
Build relationships with internal/external partners, including vendors, customers, and industry peers.
Prepare, run, and follow through on the strategic and operational management team meetings
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired a minimum of 10 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s/MS degree in business administration or related field or an MBA.
Your skills include sustained high performer in medical technology industry with proven business acumen and strong customer driven attitude.
You have a proven ability to deliver impact through others – strong influencing and interpersonal communication skills required.
You’re able to successfully drive and focus on results and execution
You’re a strong leader that has financial and business acumen, ability to influence P&L tradeoffs and decisions
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (MA) is $195,294 to $334,790
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
