Job Description
Low-Stress Hospitalist Opportunity with Excellent Work-Life Balance near St. Louis
- My client is hiring a Hospitalist to round on medical needs on behavior patients. You will not be managing behavioral issues. They have On-site psychiatrists and Pharmacists readily available to assist when needed.
- You will join theirsmall team of 2 Physicians
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or eligible in internal medicine, family medicine, or med-peds.
- Must be comfortable seeking patients as young as age 13.
- All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.
Scheduling:
- Seeking an outstanding work-life situation? This is the position for you!
- Flexibility in setting own hours in seeing patients.
- Must be available until 7 pm via phone or pager.
- Some weekends are required with limited hours in hospital.
- Very reasonable census.
Key Responsibilities:
- Low Acuity, low stress position.
- Manage admissions, rounding, and discharging of patients. Manage medical needs only.
- No Procedures or codes required.
- No ICU and No ED at this facility.
The Area:
- It is one of the fastest-growing cities in Missouri.
- Located 40 minutes from downtown St. Louis, where you will find the historic Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Zoo and is home to the St. Louis Cardinals.
- Numerous neighborhoods and schools are located within a very short commute of the hospital.
