Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Part Time Irradiation Planner
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Good communication between customer service (reporting any shipment delays and/or issues in a timely manner) and speaking with all parts of production daily to stay informed.
Ability to multi-task. Flexibility and agility in this role is necessary.
Standard job responsibilities include:
- Prepare documents necessary to fill bulk & bag orders for customers
- Work with transportation to ensure plant deliveries are timely
- Process truck loading and unloading paperwork
- Tracks and investigates inventory issues
- Answer phones and direct phone calls
- Assist in monthly inventory cycle counts
- Communicate with a diverse group of people from a variety of departments
- Assists with purchase orders
- Assists other departments / areas in an administrative capacity as needed
- Other duties assigned by supervisor
Competencies-Skills (Required):
- Excellent typing andcomputer skills
- Critical reasoning skills
- Excellent organization and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with teams cross-functionally.
- Excellent attendance
- Professional, friendly demeanor
- Team oriented attitude
- High level of initiative for problem resolution and continuous improvement efforts.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite of programs.
- Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written.
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with accounts payables in a manufacturing /warehouse environment preferred
- Well-developed time management and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards/SAP
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to deal with a changing/evolving environment
Experience-Education (Required):
* High school diploma/GED
Experience-Education (Preferred):
* At least 1 year of experience in administrative or customer service desired but not required
