ISC Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Aerospace Manufacturing Facility at the Greer Site as an ISC Production Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage the production team, and ensure the efficient and safe delivery of high-quality aerospace components. This position presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional eager to contribute to the success of our aerospace endeavors. Shift Hours:
Any Shift, Monday through Friday. Subject to change based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead hourly production staff to meet production targets and uphold quality standards.
  • Operational Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for optimizing value stream flow and operational efficiency.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions for timely delivery while reviewing Hour by Hour Boards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance processes and resolve operational issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote lean manufacturing principles, the 5S program, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Development: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, coaching, and training to team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Foster teamwork, open communication, and employee development.
  • Engineering Coordination: Coordinate with engineering for new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports and KPIs to senior site leadership.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at operational excellence and strategic objectives.
  • Innovation Tracking: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Quality Management Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality management systems such as ISO9001 and AS9100D.
  • HR Collaboration: Work with HR to promote employee engagement, development, and recognition.
  • Values and Ethics: Uphold company values and ethical standards as a role model.

You Must Have

  • Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading projects or teams within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing methods, productivity tools, and SAP.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of RCCA methodology to identify root causes and resolve problems.
  • Commitment to ensuring production employees comply with HSE corporate policies and regulations.

We Value:

  • 5+ years of experience in a production or people leader role within the aerospace industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage 20 to 40 production employees.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
