Covering a variety of business areas and needs, our internships are available to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Engineered for personal and professional development, our summer program runs for ten weeks from early June through mid-August.

Job Description

A Business Systems Analyst Intern at Medline will work on projects to enhance our current Coupa Environment that caters to Source 2 Pay (S2P) processes. Medline’s Coupa environment caters to varied Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable and reporting business processes. The analyst intern will take up a project in one of these areas and execute it bringing business benefits and/or process efficiencies. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on business process analysis, data analysis, systems design, development, testing and deployment. The project is designed so that an intern can learn, execute and present with the help of an assigned mentor. They will partner with business sponsors, analysts, developers, and management to lead their project to success.

Examples of possible projects include:

  • Implement or enhance current S2P process in and around Coupa to boost indirect procurement and accounts payable project items.
  • Implement or enhance a new reporting and KPI management dashboard for Procurement.
  • Implementor enhance a new enhancement related to the sourcing process in Coupa for RFI/RFP events.

Qualifications:

  • Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Background in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow up skills
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus
  • Any knowledge of Coupa or Sourcing/Accounts payable domain.
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$23.25 - $32.50 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes include 401(k) contributions as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp for interns and temporary roles.
