Position: IT Delivery Lead - SAFe

Initiative: Large scale software implementation/integration

Location: Raleigh area (On-Site 1x/week), Charlotte or commutable distance to Raleigh (On-Site 1x/month)

Duration: 12 month Contract to FTE

Type: W2 contract, paid hourly. No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted. Only direct W-2 candidates will be considered.

Pay Rate Range: W2 $65-80/hr

Industry: Large Bank

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Lead to support our Loan Originations domain. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for driving the successful execution of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment between business goals and IT delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives within the Consumer Lending portfolio.
  • Lead nCino implementation with the consumer lending space involving multiple scrum teams and Scrum Masters
  • Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage delivery governance, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, compliance, and organizational delivery standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product managers, IT managers, scrum masters, and vendors.
  • Track progress, budgets, and key performance indicators for assigned projects.

Required:

  • Prior experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master of Scrum Masters or Release Train Engineer, within a bank
  • Stakeholder Engagement – skilled in managing relationships with business, product, and technology partners.
  • Risk & Issue Management – proactive in identifying, escalating, and resolving risks and impediments.
  • Agile & Hybrid Methodologies – experience working in a SAFe environment and participating in leading PI planning.
  • Financial Services Knowledge – understanding of consumer lending processes, platforms, and compliance requirements.
  • Communication & Leadership – clear, concise communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: Loan origination system experience - nCino
  • Preferred: Degree in mathematics, econ, statistics, analytics, something similar
