As a Supply professional for Lockheed Martin, you manage the entire logistics chain of spare and repair parts flowing to and from our customers. You team with and make collaborative decisions with suppliers, repair facilities, warehousing, and customers. You make and execute decisions for inventory, priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. You support and advise proposal and contract writers, inventory optimization analysts, financial analysts, engineers, and procurement buyers. You will learn and use tools such as SAP, GOLD, Excel analysis, EVMS tools, technical publications, engineering drawings, and configuration management tools and methods. Using trend data, interaction with procurement and repair locations, and proactive management of inventories, this role can impact schedules, enable logistics to properly flow, and support customer flight and maintenance operations. In this highly visible role, you will be able to demonstrate your technical and business acumen through:
- Assuring inventory sufficiency throughout the life cycle of supported systems
- Capturing data and performing analysis to proactively shape logistical performance
- Solving supply chain and schedule issues
- Presenting analysis of data and logistical status to management and the customer
- Generating requirements for sourcing and repair of aircraft parts
- Performing to contractual, schedule, and financial requirements
- Providing Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) support
- Analyzing and resolving customer-raised Supply Chain Management (SCM) sustainment issues
- Leading root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Assisting with Import/Export shipments Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires controlled access.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college including: Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Operations Engineering, Logistics, Information Systems, or Business.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
* Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills:
* Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically in a high tempo customer-centered environment.
* Experience with data tools or programming languages such as Tableau, SQL, Python, etc.
* Experience with stakeholder/customer relationship management; Including communication and presenting skills
* Proficient in SAP
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
