Junior Video Editor
Overview of the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to support an in-house post-production team. This role focuses on adapting approved video content for multiple channels and markets through editing, resizing, localization, branding updates, and quality control. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career editor to gain experience within a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment while developing their technical and post-production skills.- 3-month contract
- Approximately 30 hours per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite with additional flexible hours based on project workload
- Location: Westwood, MA
Required Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate video editing experience
- 1+ years of video editing experience, preferably with a large enterprise apparel company
- Internship, freelance, agency, production studio, retail, consumer brand, or in-house creative experience
- Strong Premiere Pro skills with basic After Effects exposure
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- Experience creating social media cutdowns, resizes, and versioned content
- Strong organizational and file management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow established brand and creative guidelines
- Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with social media and digital video specifications
- Experience with subtitles, localization, or translated content is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the in-house post-production team on video updates and revisions
- Create resized and reformatted versions of video content for social, web, and digital advertising channels
- Update end cards, call-to-action messaging, and branding elements
- Organize footage, project files, and media assets using consistent file structures
- Modify audio tracks, voiceovers, music, and sound effects as needed
- Produce localized and international versions of existing content
- Implement translated copy and region-specific graphics
- Apply branding updates across video assets
- Complete copy and text revisions requested by stakeholders
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy, formatting consistency, and technical compliance
- Manage multiple revision cycles while meeting deadlines
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
