Keynote Designer
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Keynote Designer to join our team, responsible for creating visually stunning and impactful presentations that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our audience. This is a 9-month, 40 hours per week contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- The designer will collaborate on a project by project basis with various teams to create engaging narratives through design and animation.
- Art direct Keynote design through strong animation and storytelling skills.
- Explore concepts, development and execution of slide designs, including typography, transitions, and complex 2D animations.
- Take content outlines and visualize slides based on content, presentation goals and brand standards.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to contribute story-driven, forward-thinking ideas that adhere to brand guidelines and templates.
- Create graphics and charts utilizing Keynote and additional programs.
- Deliver clear and concise feedback to improve the quality of deliverables.
- Ensure design output adheres to all best practices and style guidelines, and always work towards 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in a creative and design field with a focus on presentations.
- 7+ years of experience with Keynote, Illustrator, Photoshop, typography, and layout.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, After Effects, and/or other interactive technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to all audiences and partners.
- Ability to showcase a portfolio that demonstrates strong concepts and execution with presentation and motion examples included.
- Experience prioritizing multiple, concurrent projects with a collaborative approach.
- An eye for detail and a proven track record of nuanced communication and authentic storytelling, you are comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and able to action feedback quickly.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with non-designers, who may only have a vague understanding of their need, to co-create a plan for executing quality presentations.
