About us
Job Purpose
Our team is responsible for the development of the long-term capital investment plans for the New England Electric Business aligned with the operational needs, regulatory priorities, and performance commitments of the company.
What You'll Do
- Support development of a comprehensive 10-year strategic business plan and a 5-year capital budget for the electric distribution sector.
- Provide support for essential regulatory submissions.
- Recommend and implement best-in-class reporting methodologies to enhance effectiveness.
- Create documentation supporting strategic insights provided to senior leadership and key stakeholders regarding capital portfolio performance.
- Lead design and execute innovative collaboration strategies with stakeholders to foster engagement and alignment.
- Promote continuous improvement in capital planning processes to boost efficiency and achieve excellence in performance.
- Support optimization of the capital portfolio through the use of a digital capital planning tool (Copperleaf), ensuring the selection of value-maximizing projects based on standardized prioritization criteria.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required and Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of financial budgeting and analysis experience required.
- Utility experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with advanced reporting tools such as PowerPlan and SAP. Copperleaf experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.

$131,000 - $154,000 a year Northborough, MA
