Position Overview

As a Leasing and Marketing Coordinator you're not just the first impression, you're the spark of excitement for prospective residents. You bring genuine enthusiasm to every interaction, setting the tone for a positive leasing experience. Your natural curiosity ensures that our marketing strategies are fresh and captivating, while your extensive network amplifies our presence in the market. Your knack for attention to detail ensures that every marketing effort is flawlessly implemented, further enhancing our appeal to potential residents. 


What You Will Do

  • Connect with prospective residents to build rapport and understand their housing needs.  

  • Guide prospects through the leasing process with professionalism and exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.  

  • Utilize effective sales techniques to close leases by demonstrating urgency and aligning our floorplans with prospects' lifestyle preferences.  

  • Conduct informative tours of our community for prospective students, parents, groups, etc., highlighting unique features and amenities that make Hub, Rive and State the best places to live.  

  • Execute daily outreach efforts on campus and in student hotspots throughout the market to generate leads and increase brand awareness.  

  • Organize and participate in events to spread brand awareness and attract potential future residents.  

  • Assist in developing and securing community partnerships, curate engaging content for social media and marketing materials, and lead evening marketing efforts through events and activations.  

  • Present to student organizations and attend sponsored events on behalf of the communities.   

  • Must be available to work a full shift which is a minimum of 4 hours per shift.    

  • Must be available for additional hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.  

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours each week as determined by Centralized Leasing Manager.  

  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.  

  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday.  

  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation. 


Ideally, You'll Have

  • High School Diploma or comparable degree 
  • Proven ability to lead and contribute effectively within various organizational settings or groups 
  • The utmost level of integrity in all instances, and shows respect towards others and towards company principles 

You'll crush it if you have experience with

  • Ability to write and speak effectively using appropriate conventions based on the situation 
  • Actively listening to others, asking questions to verify understanding, and providing feedback with tact and consideration 
  • Efficiently using time by prioritizing and planning work activities 
  • Sharing key information with others involved in a project or effort, working in harmony to accomplish objectives, responding with enthusiasm to directives, and showing support for departmental and organizational decisions 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and connect with diverse audiences 

Physical Demands

  • Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow or slippery surface. 
  • Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner 
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday. 
  • Bending, stooping and reaching several times through a shift. 
  • Must be able to see clearly with or without corrected vision. 
  • Ability to drive to and from client locations, this may involve sitting for extended periods of time. 
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers 
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) 

Work Environment

  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation 
  • Occasionally participates in property walks or outdoor marketing events where walking and standing for longer periods is necessary 
  • Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers) 

Work Hours/Schedule

  • Additional workload and hours may be required during the turnover period on site.
