Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a defense firm in Orlando, FL. The Litigation Paralegal will manage various litigation files from start to finish. This opportunity is direct hire, full-time, and hybrid after the training period.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide litigation support for defense cases
Assist with the preparation and electronic filing of pleadings and discovery
Analyze, review, and organize documents and data produced during discovery
Prepare document production, responses to discovery requests, and deposition summaries
Prepare records and deposition subpoenas
Manage a caseload efficiently to meet billable hour requirements (around 1500 hours annually)
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Familiarity with State and Federal Courts, including filing procedures
Experienced in electronic document discovery and database management
Knowledgeable in discovery tasks and trial preparation
Proficient in litigation software

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
Paralegal certification preferred
Minimum of three years of litigation paralegal experience
Defense civil litigation experience preferred

Compensation:

Up to $70,000 annually

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Hybrid work arrangement after training period
Ability to work extended hours when necessary
Standard office environment
