The position requires a detail oriented individual, who is a strong communicator and problem solver. The core functions of this position include boarding new loans into our loan servicing system and monitoring group email inbox.
*This position is an in-office position, with an immediate start date.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrowers, other Northmarq staff, and outside vendors.
- Obtain loan documents after closing within the expected time frames to ensure accurate setup.
- Process loan approvals and cancellations generated by Debt and Equity.
- Review loan documentation and accurately setup loan terms into the loan servicing system.
- Analyze data and process, locate, and correct inconsistencies to ensure no impact to others.
- Plan and schedule own workload to meet deadlines.
- Assist in the boarding of mass transfer-in loans.
- Properly identify and follow up for needed recorded loan documentation.
- Growth mindset, with a desire to continuously learn new skills.
- Create strong foundation of commercial loan servicing knowledge.
- Provide general operational support to other areas.
- Perform other reasonable tasks/projects, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or applicable business experience.
- 0-2 years of related office experience. Background in commercial lender, servicing, or real estate, preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; plan, set and adhere to time constraints
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibilities
- Effective customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
