Job Summary
This position assists with repairing and maintaining the physical assets of the division and supports the Maintenance Team in all functions related to maintaining all production equipment and spare parts.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Sets up, adjusts, performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality
Monitor and maintain all building and production systems as assigned. Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports to Shift Supervisor, and takes appropriate action
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems, makes necessary corrections and runs adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
Tests equipment to verify correct operation and production of quality products
Create a spare parts program and take on the responsibility of ordering all spare parts for the Maintenance Department and manage these orders through the system to ensure receipt of all orders and payment to vendors.
Update all technical SOPs for the Maintenance Department (preventative maintenance, machine operating procedures, etc.) with support from the Engineering team.
Act as the main contact person for all vendors that support facilities maintenance (fire protection, pest control, compactor maintenance, HVAC, boiler maintenance, fire control, etc.), and maintain a file of all service and ensure that all vendors provide service to RCW per the frequency described in the vendor preventative maintenance schedule.
Point of contact for all vendors that support facilities maintenance (fire protection, pest control, compactor maintenance, HVAC, boiler maintenance, fire control, etc.), and maintain a file of all service and ensure that all vendors provide service to RCW per the frequency described in the vendor preventative maintenance schedule. Ensure all vendors are set up in SAP.
Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
Required Experience:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience:
Experience working in a technical or mechanical environment is a plus.
Some plant or maintenance experience.
Must be experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working in a technical or mechanical environment is a plus.
Have technical background to support the needs of the mechanics and the parts that must be ordered for efficient sourcing from the appropriate vendors. -
SAP experience is a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$19.75 - $27.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
