Maintenance Mechanic Technician
Job Description
Conagra Brands is looking for aMaintenance Mechanic Technician at the Fort Madison, IA manufacturing plant! You will report to the Maintenance Manager. The openings will be on 2nd or 3rd shift. Conagra offers you a starting wage of $30.72 per hour and advancing to $32.65per hour in 24 months or less with opportunities to earn up to $37.51 per hour. Conagra offers shift differentials of $0.45 for 2nd and $1.00 for 3rd.
You Will:
Repair and maintain all assigned machinery
Troubleshoot machinery, analyze, and implement corrective procedures
Ensure efficient operation of all production lines including mechanical services
Provide operator training in safety, set-up, and changeover
Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety procedures
Create and close out work orders and add specs info to SAP system
Work shift schedules including overtime
You Have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Three years of prior mechanical experience; two year technical degree preferred
Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
