The Manager, Event Marketing is the strategic architect behind national and regional event initiatives that fuel pipeline growth and drive measurable revenue impact. This role demands a dynamic leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. The Manager, Event Marketing owns the strategy and execution of high-impact field marketing programs that engage target audiences, elevate brand presence, and generate high-quality leads.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes a comprehensive field marketing strategy aligned with business goals and regional sales priories.
- Drives integrated campaigns that support pipeline acceleration and customer engagement across key markets.
- Plans, manages, and executes a diverse portfolio of events including trade shows, virtual events, field activations, and experimental campaigns.
- Ensures each event is tailored to resonate with target personas and delivers measurable ROI.
- Partners closely with Sales, Marketing Operations, and Content teams to align messaging, targeting, and campaign execution.
- Establishes and refines end-to-end processes for campaign planning, lead capture, and handoff to Sales.
- Negotiates and manages vendor contracts, securing best-in-class support for logistics, production, and creative services.
- Champions new formats, technologies, and tactics to keep programs fresh, engaging, and results-driven.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or international equivalent), required.
- 6+ years of related experience, required.
- 8+ years of related experience, preferred.
- Expert industry knowledge with an understanding of the design and product of event marketing campaigns across a variety of markets and target audiences.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop others.
- Expert ability to match programs and messaging to appropriate channels and markets to drive response/performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present information to various audiences in formal and informal settings, and effectively collaborate with people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and managing to ambiguity.
- Critical thinker with the ability to be innovative, proactive, and resourceful, taking ownership of projects and tasks from beginning to end.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure events, analyze data, and synthesize results to recommend adjustments and improvements.
- Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
- Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.

Pay Transparency
The base salary for this position is $90k to $100k USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
