Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a GSC Subcontracts Manager 1 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of buyers/subcontract specialists to execute a broad scope of supplier performance and relationship management activities (solicitations, price & terms/conditions negotiations, purchase order awards, performance/delivery management, financial forecasting)
• Set the strategy for your team's work scope (including long-term pricing agreements)
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to the team to produce the desired results (purchase order placement, purchase order compliance, affordability, on-time delivery)
• Responsible for staffing and retaining talent, performing annual performance reviews, and other human resource activities
• Effectively and efficiently communicate with greater GSC community, subject matter experts and leadership
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years, or a Master's Degree with 4 years of experience in any of the following: Subcontracts, Procurement, Program Management, or Contracts; applicable experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Must have FAR/DFARS regulated prime contract experience
• Must have SAP or similar ERP system experience
• Must be able to receive and maintain and DoD Secret Clearance
• Experience working on high dollar Subcontracts ($1M+)
• Negotiating experience
• Change Management experience
• Knowledge of Contractor Purchasing System Reviews
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on high dollar Subcontracts ($2M+)
• Experience conducting presentations to senior leadership
• Knowledge of Northrop Grumman Compliance Requirements
• Previous Team Lead or Management experience
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Risk mitigation experience
Salary Range: $112,600.00 - $169,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
