Summary

The Warehouse Operation Manager owns the Warehouse and Automated Vertique management process. Manages and develops Warehouse Supervisors, Automation, Inventory Control, and Shipping & Receiving personnel. The Manager will ensure the efficient and accurate loading of trucks and the overall warehouse automation operations while providing guidance and oversight for all warehouse associates.

Responsibilities

  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
  • Supervise warehouse and the daily activities of the warehouse.
  • Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
  • Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
  • Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
  • Secure company assets.
  • Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
  • Accountable for internal audit, safety and quality assurance standards and eternal regulatory requirements.
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years’ warehouse/inventory experience required.
  • Requires experience managing supervisory level employees.
  • 3+ years managing warehouse / inventory environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills to effectively lead supervisors.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to facilitate goal setting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Intermediate PC and database skills.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
