Marketing Analyst, Healthcare

Location: Plantation, FL, Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN

W2 only, no C2C.

We are looking for a consumer-centric, data-driven Marketing Analyst, Healthcare to join our exciting and fast-paced team in Plantation, FL, Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA or Minneapolis, MN. We have very ambitious plans for this rapidly growing healthcare pet retail business and are looking for a performance marketing analyst to help us optimize marketing campaigns and drive customer growth. The Marketing Analyst will develop and evaluate customer forecasts across healthcare categories, optimize paid media campaigns across multiple channels, conduct advanced customer segmentation analysis, and provide data-driven insights to grow healthcare retail categories for multiple leadership reviews.

The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketing professional with hands-on campaign optimization experience who can flex between strategic and executional work. This is a unique opportunity to work in a start-up like fashion, but for an existing and loveable brand that requires a scrappy, action-biased, self-starter individual with superior relationship building skills.

What You’ll Do:

Campaign Performance & Optimization:

  • Run and support marketing campaigns across paid media channels including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital platforms
  • Optimize campaign performance using data insights, including bid strategies, audience targeting, creative testing, and budget allocation
  • Track and analyze key campaign metrics including ROAS, CAC, CTR, conversion rates, and incremental lift
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to improve campaign effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities

Customer Analytics & Segmentation:

  • Develop advanced customer segmentation strategies using behavioral, demographic, and psychographic data
  • Build and analyze audience cohorts to understand customer lifecycle patterns and identify high-value segments
  • Create segmentation strategies that directly impact retention, conversion, and customer lifetime value
  • Partner with marketing science and finance teams to develop and evaluate healthcare retail customer forecasts including customer acquisition, churn and reactivation

Data Management & Analysis:

  • Clean, normalize, and integrate marketing data from multiple sources including CRM systems, Google Ads Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, and backend databases
  • Ensure data accuracy and establish single source of truth across fragmented healthcare data systems
  • Handle messy, siloed data across teams and adapt analysis approaches when facing data limitations
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools including SQL, Python, Tableau, Google Analytics, and other marketing analytics platforms

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Partner with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to deliver actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making
  • Produce written summaries of marketing performance and customer forecasts for leadership planning and performance reports including two annual reports to be reviewed by C-suite in the fall
  • Lead healthcare marketing Tableau dashboard strategies and support dashboard development with marketing science team
  • Support and lead data discrepancy conversations, aligning different teams to one source of truth for marketing and customer data

Strategic Analysis:

  • Analyze performance of healthcare category marketing campaigns and initiatives across all channels and touchpoints
  • Conduct deep dive marketing channel performance analysis including Email, Direct Mail, and paid media efforts
  • Support marketing audits on campaign performance and analysis of historical customer and business trends across multiple healthcare categories
  • Manage development of analysis on impact of upper and mid-funnel marketing initiatives on conversion and business performance

What You’ll Need:

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, performance marketing, or e-commerce analytics role
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads platforms, including campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis
  • Proven experience with customer segmentation and audience development, including behavioral and psychographic segmentation
  • Experience running or directly supporting marketing campaigns with measurable performance outcomes

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau for data analysis and visualization
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools including Google Analytics, Looker, and various attribution platforms
  • Experience with data cleaning, normalization, and integration across marketing technology stack

Core Competencies:

  • Demonstrated expertise in campaign optimization using data insights with proven track record of improving performance metrics
  • Experience with structured testing methodologies (A/B, multivariate, incrementality testing)
  • Strong background in customer segmentation strategy with examples of impact on retention and conversion
  • Ability to work with messy, fragmented data and adapt analysis approaches accordingly
  • Proven ability to ensure data accuracy and establish trust across multiple data sources

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong examples of analysis that directly influenced strategic decision-making across marketing, product, and CX teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, self-starter environment with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, retail, or e-commerce industries
  • Background with marketing mix modeling and advanced attribution analysis
  • Experience with customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies
  • Familiarity with healthcare data regulations and compliance requirements

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 to $33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
