Job Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team.  The role is full time and will be hybrid (half in office in Stamford, CT and half remote).

To be considered for this role, you MUST be able to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for multiple brands, possess proven mentorship and leadership skills, have B2B experience, and be comfortable handling hands-on tasks as needed.

Responsibilities: 
-Execute marketing strategies, plans, and programs, both short and long term, to ensure compound profitable growth and expansion of the company's service offerings
-Lead and drive the marketing team, including setting task-based activities, department, and individual goals, objectives, and expectations for each role in the department
-Develop tools to support our sales team in delivering on the brand position and promise
-Manage all marketing projects, product launches, events, and activities, reporting on progress to the manager/management team
-Direct communication w/ graphic creatives & written plans to respond to the strategic direction established by the marketing team
-Marketing project management utilizing a global software platform (Wrike)
-Coach and mentor a marketing team, including defining future career paths, technical and leadership skills required for further career progression
-Ensure clear articulation and consistent communication of our client's desired brand position to all key stakeholders and constituencies, both internal and external
-In conjunction with managers and other stakeholders, develop, implement, and regularly review a strategic Marketing Plan for domestic and overseas markets
-Build partnership programs with customers directly, build co-op marketing content to share with them co-op marketing content to improve their retailer or end-consumer facing collateral
-Research, monitor, and advise on market, competitor, technological, and demographic/social factors affecting our business so that market opportunities can be identified and capitalized on
-Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are informed of marketing activities and objectives
-Oversee SharePoint continual development and direct continual internal communications
-Manage the planning, production, and distribution of product catalogues/price lists
-Oversee development and implementation of support materials and services
-Coach others on the effective use of our brand in all customer interactions
-Lead, support, and coach the marketing team throughout the execution of marketing campaigns and projects

Qualifications:
-5-7 years relevant marketing experience, ideally within window furnishings, building products, consumer goods, or related technical products or services
-1-2 years of practical and hands-on Marketing management role with direct team responsibility
-Proficiency in using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and associated plug-ins
-Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) experience for website content management, WordPress preferred

-Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
-Sound attention to detail and problem-solving capability
-High level of initiative, motivation, energy, and a drive with a can-do collaborative attitude

-Takes accountability and displays a sense of urgency and professionalism consistently
-Collaborative working style and thrives in a cross-functional team environment
