Responsibilities
Administrative:
- Manage Vagaro, our business management software that organizes operations on an online platform, with online scheduling of appointments, events and classes, task automation, reporting tools and customer information database collection.
- Work with clients to
- Field questions and concerns about all Fleet Feet training services.
- Build relationships with current clients while proactively develop new clients.
- Greet incoming inquiries and walk-ins as needed.
Hands-On:
- Provide sports massage therapy concentrated on sports rehabilitation techniques.
- Educate clients on therapeutic care of sports-related injuries that inhibit physical activity.
- Conduct group classes related to massage, massage technique and stretching (i.e., foam rolling workshop, etc.)
Maintain Equipment and Inventory:
- Monitors and cleans massage equipment to licensing standards.
- Schedules maintenance for massage equipment as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed one of two nationally recognized tests: the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) and/or the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB)
- Must be a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of Missouri
- At least 1 year of applicable experience in massage therapy
- Sskilled in advanced body care such as myofascial release (MFR)
- Must be First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong communication skills, decision-making skills, and empathy towards clients
- Solid physical stamina including the ability to stand on their feet and perform massage up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with work hours (potentially including early mornings, evenings, and /or weekends)
- Knowledge and/or passion for the running industry is a plus
