Commitment incentive:  $7,500 will be paid over a three-year period in three (3) equal installments (12 months, 24 months, and 36 months. Payment will be treated as taxable income and directly deposited in your paycheck.

Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to transplant patients and the multidisciplinary transplant team. This role requires compassion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and preparation for clinic visits.
  • Coordinate clinic floe with the direction of the clinic nurse
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the transplant team.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory of clinical supplies and assist with medication reconciliation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; transplant or specialty care experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
