Job Summary:
The Enterprise Business Operations team, embedded within the Office of the CEO, works closely with NetApp's top executives and our three business units (On-prem storage, Public Cloud Storage, and Cloud Operations) to ensure that the company stays on its profitable growth trajectory. The team plays an active role in some of NetApp's boldest and most strategic decisions in defining and driving greater operational rigor across the business to accelerate our pace of execution. Today, NetApp is leading the way in how our customers get the most out of their data with industry-leading cloud data services, storage systems, and software.
As a Strategy & Operations leader, you will join a highly entrepreneurial team, including alumni from top management consulting firms and versatile professionals in Enterprise IT. We partner with key stakeholders to define and refine strategy, solve complex problems, build scalable processes, analyze business performance, and execute critical cross-functional initiatives that enable NetApp to achieve its business objectives. You will play a role driving needle-moving cross-functional projects, building relationships with several top executives across the company, and will gradually specialize in one of NetApp's business units. This position provides unparalleled senior executive exposure and is often the avenue to unique functional leadership roles at NetApp.
Job Description:
- Structure complex problems and drive solutions and processes with multiple senior stakeholders to deliver high business impact
- Provide thought leadership and strategic advice to leaders across the company
- Tackle hard questions with rigor and perseverance, owning the project from problem definition to final recommendation.
- Present recommendations and lead discussions across multiple levels of management
- Lead multiple projects and/or workstreams independently
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve their own development goals
Job Requirements
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Strong people development and leadership skills, able to manage multiple extended and/or virtual teams
- Demonstrated project leadership experience, with the ability to develop and lead projects end-to-end
- Familiarity with the enterprise IT industry, particularly the storage market, products, and technologies
- Experience in building trusted advisor relationships and influencing others, working effectively with people at all levels in an organization
- Strong presence in front of senior executives, comfortable in both business and technical discussions
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding the fundamental drivers of business success and competitive advantage
- Proven ability to structure complex problems, develop clear hypotheses, and drive towards actionable recommendations
Education
- 8+ years total work experience with 3-4 years post-MBA working at a top management consulting firm or in a Strategy & Operations role in the high-tech industry

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $170K - $220K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
