Job Description

The Atlanta office of McGuireWoods seeks a Financial Regulatory Associate to join its Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department.


The cornerstone of McGuireWoods’ financial services and securities enforcement group is the team’s ability to effectively represent the interests of the vital, growing and increasingly complex financial services sector. This work includes advising clients in cutting-edge payments products, state and federal regulatory inquiries, rulemakings, money transmission, lobbying and legislative affairs, licensing, product counseling, intellectual property, and compliance obligations across domestic and international markets.

    • Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant experience to include: 
      • Understanding of fintech clients, payment products
      • Representing clients in consumer protection matters including the FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, SCRA, MLA, TILA, EFTA, GLBA, and TCPA
    • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams.
    • Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills.
    • Georgia Bar is required.
