Multifamily Investment Sales Intern – Commercial Real Estate

The San Antonio Multifamily Investment Sales intern at Northmarq will work alongside senior brokers, gaining hands-on exposure to the sales and marketing process of large multifamily transactions. Interns will help manage a weekly $100M+ pipeline, sit in on real-time deal negotiations, and participate in strategic initiatives across research, underwriting, and investor outreach.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to support property valuations and investment strategies
- Compile sales comparables and property-level reports
- Maintain and update internal databases, including Salesforce CRM, with property, transaction, and investor data
- Assist with financial modeling and underwriting for active listings and BOVs
- Support brokers with dealing with execution tasks and prepare materials for property tours
- Sit in on senior broker meetings and deal negotiations to gain real-world experience in transaction structuring
- Help manage a $100M+ active pipeline of live deals, tracking progress from marketing to closing
- Complete special projects assigned by senior analysts or broker team
- Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data
- Interest in commercial real estate, investment sales, and capital markets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and thrives both independently and in a team environment
