National Account Executive

Position Summary:

The Reyes Beverage Group (RBG) National Account Executive plays an integral role delivering on and supporting our chain goal and objectives. This role is accountable for developing and maintaining best in class relationships with a specified list of chain retailers, leveraging our portfolio to influence and shape key retailer decisions and unleashing our competitive advantage with data-enabled technology to deliver industry leading share gains for our organization.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Develop, present, and ensure execution of National Account sales plans that meet the Division’s annual business plan goals and objectives.
  • Drive detailed customer level planning and gap closing initiatives to ensure RBD objectives are met.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationship with specified retailer category teams at HQ level.
  • Establish strong business relationship with key supplier partners and ensure Division alignment on business planning by chain.
  • Plan and conduct regular sales call frequency to each assigned retailer call points, both with and without supplier participation.
  • Plan and execute regular business reviews with Tier 1 and Tier 2 retailer partners to identify areas of opportunity to drive mutually agreed upon objectives.
  • Serve as the key internal liaison between our retailers and our Sales teams---represent the retailer’s interests while driving what makes the most sense for RBD
  • Partner with internal RBD sales leaders to deliver agreed upon programming at store level via regular communication and focus.
  • Support local sales and merchandising team efforts at store level to execute critical programming and Tier 1 retailers.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
  • Have a very strong understanding of syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen) and have ability to communicate opportunities mined from this data.
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
  • The employee must be able to lift and carry products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling keg products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Consumer Product Goods experience.
  • Relationships with account leadership.
