Summary:
- The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, provides patient treatment and therapy by following an established plan of care directed and supervised by an OTR/L. Responsible for mentoring Assistants, Technicians, and Students. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disiplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Participates in CQI activities. Facilitates the provision of excellent customer service.
- EDUCATION
- Associate Degree from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
- EXPERIENCE
- None
- LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
- Current NC Board of Occupational Therapy license. Occupational Therapist Assistant license or eligible.
- OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Analytical abilities to delegate personnel, problem solve with positive solutions. Good interpersonal and communication skills required to facilitate interactions with stated customers and staff members.
