Job Title: OmniStudio / Salesforce Industries (CPQ) Lead Developer

Location: Remote - working hours based on PST

Job Summary A Salesforce Lead/Senior Developer plays a crucial role in managing and delivering Salesforce projects and brings extensive Salesforce knowledge. Years of experience needed: Minimum, 7 years of experience on Salesforce CRM projects Skills:
• Experience with OmniStudio is required
• Experience with the following Salesforce Clouds: CPQ (ideally Industries CPQ/Salesforce Industries), Sales & Service Clouds.
• Experience with Salesforce Org migrations.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integration, and data modeling.
• Experience with transforming business requirements/user stories to technical requirements.
• Experience with building large-scale integration with Salesforce Platform leveraging UI to UI, API based and Data integrations.
• Extensive experience with LWC, APEX, Lightning, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce CLI, VS Code and other core Salesforce platform development tools.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Proven leadership skills to lead and manage Salesforce development teams, including mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of technical issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in documenting technical designs, configuration changes, and customizations for future reference.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect are preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Test-Driven Development and software design patterns.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business users, executives, and IT teams.

• Excellent presentation skills Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Strategy
• Participating in KT and discovery discussions
• Define Scope and Objectives: Work with stakeholders to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop Project Plan: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 2. Stakeholder Management
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with various teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and communication.
• Manage Expectations: Set and manage expectations with stakeholders regarding project progress, timelines, and deliverables. 3. Technical Oversight
• Addressing nonfunctional requirements
• Defining technical architecture
• Designing technical solutions
• Developing solution framework and utilities development
• Defining best practices
• Reviewing the designs
• Analyzing impacts of Salesforce releases on applications and takes preventive measures
• Helping team to conduct Performance testing
• Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
• Troubleshooting
• Monitoring and Maintaining code quality
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the project adheres to best practices and Salesforce standards.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Integration Management: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems and tools as needed. 4. Project Execution
• Coordinate Activities: Coordinate the efforts of project team members, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
• Monitor Progress: Track project progress against the plan, adjusting as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to Salesforce best practices. 5. Resource Management
• Team Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, tools, and budget.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with third-party vendors or consultants if external expertise is required. 6. Reporting and Documentation
• Status Reports: Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, including project progress, risks, and issues.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, designs, and configurations. 7. Change Management
• Handle Changes: Manage change requests and ensure they are assessed, documented, and communicated effectively.
• Adaptation: Adapt project plans and strategies based on changes in scope or new information. 8. Training and Support
• User Training: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure they are comfortable with the new Salesforce implementation.
• Support: Provide post-implementation support and address any issues or questions that arise after the project goes live. 9. Compliance and Governance
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that the project adheres to organizational and regulatory compliance standards.
• Governance: Implement governance practices to ensure the project aligns with organizational policies and Salesforce best practices. 10. Staffing & Recruitment
• Understand the nature of resource requirements from the customer or Account teams.
• Work with Talent Acquisition team for fulfilment of the positions.
• Responsible for onboarding the resources on customer systems and environments.
In essence, a Salesforce Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Salesforce projects, from planning and execution to delivery and support, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction
