This facility features a state-of-the-art cancer center serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon. The beautiful free-standing cancer center includes a new 19-chair infusion room, onsite mixing pharmacy, and radiation oncology services. The hospital offers a full scope of services and benefits from a collaborative network through its partnership with Oregon Health & Science University.
Opportunity:
Board Certified/Board Eligible - Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist
Job Details:
* Accepting part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates* BE (within 2 years)/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology required* Practice demographics: approximately 20% Hematology, 80% Oncology* Outpatient-only practice at free-standing cancer center - no inpatient consults* Average 10-15 patients per day in clinic* Collaborative work with infusion team and radiation oncology* 8-hour days with 1:4 call (primarily critical lab calls)* Access to leading edge clinical trials* Opportunity to work with high caliber, collegial nursing and infusion teams* Must have clean malpractice history/background* Oregon license required (or willingness to obtain)* BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain)* Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates* Open to new fellow graduates* Potential locum-to-perm opportunity* Comprehensive benefits include 6% match, generous PTO, CME allowance, and licensing fees* Onsite Employee Health and Wellness Clinic and Child Care and Learning Center* Relocation assistance with white glove service to help get settled* Potential sign-on bonus (discussed at interview)
