The Leadership Development team is responsible for skilling over 16,000 leaders for critical transition and high potential roles. We are in a transformative period in our journey where we are building the framework and tools to accelerate our program for continuous success for today and years to come.
Key Responsibilities:
• This role would require the Operational Excellence (OpEx) Project Manager to lead and scale key transformative initiatives across our organization. The projects will include Cohort evolution strategy, leadership development and change management initiatives.
• We are seeking a seasoned and well accomplished team member who can drive and deliver complex, dynamically changing, cross-functional process improvement projects through implementation of agile and scrum methodologies. The candidate has achieved much success in delivering executive ready presentations and communication that is consumable and meets the desired results.
• Partner with critical key stakeholders and collaborate with local partners to identify inefficiencies and co-create data-driven solutions and resolve operational challenges
• Serve as a Leadership Development change agent in the implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives. As a key influencer within the tower to champion change, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and drive alignment on operational priorities.
• Monitor KPI's and develop dashboards to track improvement initiatives and operational metrics across programs and LD workstreams
• Report progress to executive leadership and contribute to OpEx strategy and development. Monitor and manage training content, including-learning, instructor led, VILT, toolkits and self-directed resources
• Communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to gain consensus and drive decision-making across cross-functional teams and organizational boundaries.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Operations or related field (Masters preferred) and at least 9 years of related professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in operations, continuous improvement, or program management roles
• Proven experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results
• Demonstrated change management, stakeholder engagement and enterprise communications experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in a related field
• Prior experience designing and/or project managing high potential programs
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Belt Strongly preferred
• Advanced SharePoint, Web Design and graphic design skills a plus
• Broad based experience as an HR Business Partner, change management, prior experience with working on larger scale OD/OE projects, and/or experience in other HR CoEs(Centers of Excellence)
• Prior experience working in a large, complex matrixed environment; A&D experience a plus
• Agile project management experience; certification as a scrum master a plus
• High learning agility, strategic thinking and leadership potential
Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
