Operations Specialist

Job Description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Operations Specialist. They will provide advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers, and assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, including recording and reporting data. Duties and tasks are varied and may be somewhat complex. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete/close all routes with accurate data
  • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, uploading proper documents to record keeping system
  • Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by Management Team
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating disposal rates within route servicing system
  • Responsible for reconciling disposal invoices to route servicing system, coding disposal invoices and sending to AP for payment
  • Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis
  • Assists with the processing of payments and other financial tasks as necessary
  • Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations and dispatch issues
  • Assists implementation of operational projects as needed
  • Assist and communicate with other departments
  • Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor
  • Communicates with customers about service issues
  • Communicates with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and one year of general office experience or equivalent training
  • 3 or more years administrative or clerical experience required
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
