Our Fortune 500 financial services client is seeking an experienced Paid Media Strategist to support a variety of strategic marketing and media initiatives. This is assignment is projected to last around 9-months. Candidates must be able to work onsite in NYC five days/week (40 hrs/week).
As a Paid Media Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cross-channel media investments, partnering with the cross-functional Media team and Lines of Business (LOBs) to drive transformative strategies in Paid Media. You will help architect sophisticated media strategies, leveraging deep expertise to model investment scenarios, refine audience approaches, and synthesize complex performance data into actionable insights. You will be instrumental in advancing our measurement frameworks and testing agendas, ensuring our media initiatives are both innovative and accountable. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of paid media at scale, working alongside top talent and leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
You will be at the forefront of high-impact, enterprise-level projects, including:
- Designing and implementing journey-based marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement across touchpoints
- Collaborating on competitive anomaly reporting to inform agile media decisions in a dynamic marketplace
- Supporting Multi-Touch Attribution onboarding and operational excellence, elevating our measurement capabilities
- Overseeing project management for video upfronts, collaborating with senior stakeholders and external partners
- Driving monthly data and analytics reporting, translating results into strategic recommendations for executive leadership
Required Skills
- Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams and managing large-scale, multi-channel campaigns
- Advanced analytical acumen with a proven ability to connect media investments to business outcomes
- Exceptional ability to distill complex business challenges and data sets into clear, strategic insights
- Expertise in developing and executing innovative, data-driven media strategies
- Familiarity with audience segmentation, investment modeling, and campaign optimization
- Precision in attention to detail and a relentless commitment to accuracy
- Strong judgment in navigating ambiguity, assessing risks, and crafting well-structured, data-informed recommendations
- Proficiency in paid media platforms and advanced analytics tools (Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau)
- Hands-on experience with next-gen measurement solutions (Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution)
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Superior organizational and project management capabilities, with a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in paid media strategy, digital marketing, or media planning
- Proven leadership in managing complex, high-budget paid media campaigns
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
