Overview:
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone to join our Painter Team! Our painters are responsible for painting and maintaining all interior and exterior structures throughout the park.
Responsibilities:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Paint offices, buildings, rides, handrails, fences, safety lines, etc. throughout the park
- Mix and match paint colors
- Knowledge in use of a striping machine
- Prepare surfaces to be painted by sanding, drywall taping, scraping/water blasting (power scraping)
- Keep a daily duty lof of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance
- Comply with environmental laws in proper storage and disposal of paint and chemicals
- Comply with all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications
- Should possess high school diploma or equivalent
- Should possess knowledge of conventional and airless spray equipment
- Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles
- Must be able to use various types of safety and emergency equipment, including respirators and safety harnesses
- Must be able to work at heights in excess of 150 feet, crawling, and working in confined spaces and lifiting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work varied shifts, includings nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must possess a valid drivers license
