Essential Duties
The Department of Criminal Justice at Bridgewater State University seeks qualified Part Time Faculty who are enthusiastic teachers and dedicated to working with undergraduates for the 2025/2026 academic year.Courses Part-Time Faculty may be asked to teach include: cybercrime, cyber ethics, cybersecurity and law, network security, and other cybersecurity and cybercrime related courses
Candidates must demonstrate ability to use technology effectively in online and in-person teaching, and learning designed to meet the educational, culturally relevant, and emotional needs of our students.
Candidates must develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning, and encourage student success to all students regardless of race.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology or Sociology. Related fields may also be considered.Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience is preferred.Special Conditions for Eligibility

The current salary rate for a typical 3 credit lecture course taught by a new part-time faculty member in the day program is $4,005.00, paid through bi-weekly payroll direct deposit.
