Pediatric Float Pool APP

UNC Health is looking to hire a Pediatric APP (NP/PA) for its float pool. If you are looking to work short-term assignments to periodic assignments this may be the opportunity for you. Part-time options (1-2 days) also available.

Requirements:

Pediatric Care APP
Licensed in North Carolina
1 plus years of experience (minimum requirement)
Knowledge of Epic is a plus
Must work once every 90 days

Compensation:

$60/hour

Around the Triangle and surrounding areas.

Education Requirements:
● Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina.
● Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
● Demonstrated clinical competency.
● Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
● Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
● Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
● Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
